There is no new content for the PS Vita or PSP in this week’s PlayStation Store update in North America. Instead, Sony has a sale on for a number of Minis titles, which have been reduced by up to 75%.

PlayStation Plus will offer Vita owners the same value that PS3 users see, with exclusive offers, content and deals for members.
Sony has announced Killzone: Mercenary for the PS Vita at their Gamescom Press Conference earlier today, as well as showing the game’s debut trailer. As per the title, the game is based around mercenaries rather than choosing a side. Not a lot of information for the game was revealed, but more details are promised over the coming months.
Media Molecule has announced its new IP called Tearaway, which will be released exclusively on the PS Vita. Tearaway follows a paper character called Iota, a messenger who needs the player’s help to navigate the world. Iota and the world of Tearaway is made of paper and it can be taken advantage and manipulated by the player.

At Sony’s Press Conference at Gamescom earlier today, Cross-Buy for the PS Vita and PS3 was formally announced. We’ve seen cross-buy already with titles like MotorStorm RC and DLC, but PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal will be the first full game to support the initiative.
