The next PS Vita System Software Update (v1.65) will be released soon and will include a number of minor enhancements to the portable console. Unfortunately, PSOne compatibility is still missing as are other needed improvements to the system. Check out the changelog below.
PS Vita Add-Ons
The PlayStation Vita Store and all the launch titles goes live in Europe tonight, in time for the official launch of the PS Vita tomorrow. Gamers who have received their PS Vita’s already (from overeager online retailers) will be able to access the content from this evening.
Security
In preparation for Wednesday’s wide release of PS Vita, Sony are releasing System Software Update (v1.61) for download. If you are just turning on your PlayStation Vita for the first time, this update will add a number of new features to the PS Vita (see below for a summary or check our Firmware v1.60 post).
