Killzone Mercenary Gets PlayStation TV Compatibility

October 14th, 2014 / Niraj Shah / News

A new patch for Killzone: Mercenary is now available to download, updating the game to v1.11. The update is free to download across all regions, and brings full support for the PlayStation TV. The update means the game can now be played on a large TV using a DualShock 3/4 controller and the PlayStation TV.

As the PS Vita version required touch controls, these have also been reworked to work with the DualShock controllers to maximise the experience. The multiplayer mode has also been balanced for players, whether playing on a TV or the PS Vita console itself, so neither have a competitive advantage.

Also, as part of update 1.11, in response to player feedback, Guerilla Games have finally been able to implement a restart-from-checkpoint system into the game, so campaign players can save progress mid-mission and return to it at a later date, without need to hit the suspend button.`
