Sony has released their Q1 2012 earnings report this morning revealing PS Vita and PSP sales for the period April 1st, 2012 to June 30th, 2012. According to the report, Sony has sold a combined total of 1.4 million handhelds, but did not disclose the actual number of PS Vita units sold.
Due to the low number of sales and “the impact of unfavorable exchange rates”, Sony has reduced their forecast of selling 16 million portables in this fiscal year to just 12 million units. The PS3 and PS2, in comparison, sold 2.8 million units.
