PS Vita Sales in Japan Double

June 14th, 2012 / Niraj Shah / News

A few popular games in Japan have the boosted the PS Vita’s sales in Japan. The Metal Gear Solid Collection and Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Battle Destiny have both helped the console sell almost twice the units compared to last week. Lets hope Vita sales continue to climb as new titles are released.

PS Vita sales were at around 7,000 units, but this week it has increased to 13,000 units. In addition, the PS Vita sold more units that the PSP for the first time in five months. The Metal Gear Solid Collection will be available to purchase in North America soon, and coming to Europe later this month. Hopefully the same sales trend appears in the West too.
