As launch day for the PlayStation Vita approaches, Sony has announced another deal to entice users to splash out on the new portable console. The latest initiative from Sony promotes the cross-play compatibility between the PS3 and PS Vita, and gives gamers a chance to own both versions of the game for one price.

The first WipEout 2048 patch has been released on the PlayStation Vita, bringing the game to version v1.01. Reports are suggesting that the patch has reduced loading times on the game by around 10-15 seconds, making a huge difference when it comes to loading tracks.
