PS Vita Black Ops Declassified Bundle Will Include Digital Copy of Game

September 27th, 2012 / Niraj Shah / News

Sony’s official PlayStation Vita Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified bundle will include a voucher to download a digital copy of upcoming FPS, not a physical copy. The bundle also includes a 4GB memory card, which will presumably be completely used up by the game once downloaded.

The bundle was previously though to contain a physical version of the game. Lets hope the other planned bundles do not follow suit. It would be shame to have to download Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation onto a memory card before you can play the game. Gamers are recommended to purchase a larger memory card if they wish to download other titles too.

Retail PS Vita games tend to be fairly large in size. A digital copy of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, for example, required 2.7 GB, and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is around 1.8 GB in size.

This is a shame. Not everybody has high speed connections or the luxury of unlimited data plans. Then is the issue of we are going to be unable to exchange the game once we finishe it. Is a lose lose situation for the user. I have no problem to buy downloadable games when they’re simple, like a Tetris or Angry Bird style. But serious games like this I won’t. If it becomes an standard in the industry I think they’re going to see lower sales.

Thats shit! Anyone who gets this bundle won’t be able to play straight out-of-the-box. The game will probably be like 4.5 GB, which will make the memory card useless!
