According to an update from EA in Poland, the PS Vita version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted has been delayed, while the console and PC versions are still on schedule for release this year. The PS Vita version was expected to launch in November 2012, but is now expected in Spring 2013 is the Polish translation is correct.

According to Google Translate, the Polish text translates to:

“Prime Minister releases the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is scheduled for 31 October., Edition dedicated to the holders of the PlayStation Vista debut on the market in the spring of 2013, the”

Our Polish translator (thanks Michael Nowicki) summarizes the text to:

“Release for  PC, PS3, Xbox 360 is scheduled on 31 October this year. Special edition for PlayStation Vita owners will be available on market Spring 2013.”

The Need for Speed website lets gamers pre-order the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, but the PS Vita version is no where to be found. According to our translation, only the Special Edition for the PS Vita may be delayed.
