PS Vita Sells 2.2 Million Units Worldwide

August 20th, 2012 / Niraj Shah / News

Sony PlayStation Germany chief Uwe Bassendowski has revealed that the PS Vita has sold 2.2 million units worldwide since the console was launched. Bassendowski also revealed that the company’s marking efforts have failed to captivate younger gamers, but will address this problem going forward.

Bassendowski says the current marketing efforts by Sony have failed to attract the younger demographic to the console, despite the console having many 3+ PEGI rated titles including Ben 10 Galactic Racing and Touch My Katamari.
