Great news for fans of Final Fantasy X. Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy X will be getting an HD re-release in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary. Personally, I rather see a remake of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita in HD, but this is good news nonetheless.
The announcement was made at Sony’s press conference earlier today at the Tokyo Game Show. Square-Enix says the HD remake is coming along nicely, but asks that fans be patient for more info. Details are pretty slim at the moment but we do know that the title will be release on both the PS3 and PlayStation Vita. It doesn’t look like the title will be ready in time for launch though…
