Gamescom 2012: PS Vita Firmware v1.80 Coming End of August

Sony has announced the release date and features for upcoming PS Vita firmware update version v1.80. In addition to PSOne Classics compatibility, the update will include lots of new features and changes, including Cross Controller feature, button controls and more.

What to Expect with PSOne Classics on PS Vita

Despite Sony claiming that the entire PSOne catalogue will work on the PS Vita at E3 early last month, its more likely that the catalogue will start small, and evolve over time. A bit like what we’ve already seen with PSOne titles on the PSP.
