Sony Fixes LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Download Issue

September 21st, 2012 / Niraj Shah / News

PS Vita gamers who purchased and downloaded LittleBigPlanet PS Vita earlier this week were plagued with C2-12383-7 errors, preventing the game from being installed. SCEE have since responded and confirmed the issue, which affected “a small number of people”. The game has been fixed on the PlayStation Store and can be downloaded and installed correctly now.

Sony issued the following statement:

We are aware that a small number of people who downloaded LittleBigPlanet PS Vita from PlayStation Store during a short, very specific period of time were not able to complete the download process. This was due to a problem with the original game file that had been uploaded to the store.

The glitch was fixed as soon as we learnt about it and we’d like to confirm that LBP PS Vita is now available for download.

All affected users will be contacted directly via email, so please check your inbox.

We’ve tested out the new version and can confirm that the game downloads and installs correctly. Don’t forget to download the game patch too.
