Free-to-play RPG, Picotto Knights, on the PS Vita will be releasing in Japan later this month. The game combines sidescroll fighting with RPG mechanics, and local and online co-op modes, and is being developed by NHN Hangame and Game Arts. Although the publisher hasn’t mentioned a Western release, a trademark filed by GungHo Entertainment suggests otherwise.
GungHo filed a trademark forPicotto Knights in the US trademark database, and could be planning to make an announcement at the Tokyo Game Show later this month. Picotto Knights will be available on September 20th on Japan’s PlayStation Store. It’s a free to play game with additional items you can buy for real world money.
