PS Vita Firmware Update v1.65 Taken Down

April 3rd, 2012 / Niraj Shah / News

Those hoping to update their PlayStation Vita to the latest firmware version announced this morning will have to wait. Sony has confirmed that the update was taken down due to a technical fault. “For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal,” said a spokesperson.

A new update will likely take another week to appear so sit tight until then. The v1.65 update is only a minor one, featuring a few enhancements and additions. Unofficial sources say the bug in the update was related to ad-hoc mode.
